The department of orthopaedics in Maa Durga Nursing Home is a fully developed speciality providing basic and advanced care for musculoskeletal problems. The dept is run by two highly competent Ortho Surgeons. They together provide round the clock service for trauma victims. They provide all types of surgical procedures including – open & closed nailing of long bones (AFN,DFN,PFN,UTN,RECON NAIL,EXPERT NAIL,RUSH NAIL) for young & old persons & TENS Nail for children, similarly they do all types of planting (DCP,LCDCP.LOCKING PLATE, PRECONTOURED PLATES) for various particular fractures and complex pattern fractures.
General surgery is a surgical specialty that focuses on abdominal contents including esophagus, stomach, small bowel,colon, liver, pancreas, gallbladder and bile ducts, and often the thyroid gland (depending on local reference patterns). They also deal with diseases involving the skin, breast, soft tissue, trauma , peripheral vascular surgery and hernias.
The surgical department provides general, orthopedic, ophthalmologic, oncologic, oral, gynecologic, otolaryngologic and endoscopic services. All physicians and allied health professionals providing surgical care at Maa Durga Nursing Home have appropriate credentials and clinical privileges delineated by the Medical Staff and approved by the Board of Directors. Nursing Care is provided for all age groups, with evaluation of each patient on an individual basis.
